Competition Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to the Roald Dahl Win Fantastical Prizes (the "Promotion"). By participating in the Promotion, you will be legally bound by these Terms.
If there is a conflict in these Terms with any other terms whatsoever attached to any other advertising material in respect of the Promotion, these conditions will take precedence.

- Premier Foods Group Limited of Premier House, Centrium Business Park Griffiths Way, St. Albans, United Kingdom, AL1 2RE is the "Promoter".
- 20 Ten Creative Limited of Regina House, 124 Finchley Road, London, United Kingdom, NW3 5JS is the "Agency" and will be responsible for administering the Promotion.
- Active Consultancy Ltd of 51 Wolsey Road, Esher, Surrey, KT10 8NT is the "Prize Fulfilment Agency" and will be responsible for fulfilment of prizes.
- The Promotion is open to residents of the UK and Republic of Ireland, aged 18 or over. Promotion is not open to employees, contractors, representatives, agents, officers or directors of the Promoter, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, marketing agencies, or to any of their immediate family members or persons living in the same household, whether or not related, or to anyone else professionally connected with the Promotion.
- The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any participant or claimant of a prize. The Promoter may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose, which may include proof of purchase, identity, age, residency and address. The Promoter may withhold prizes while it verifies eligibility.
- Internet access and a valid mobile number and email address required.
- Entries may only be submitted via the Promotion Website (see clause 14). There is no charge to use the Website.
- No purchase is required to enter.
- The Promotion consists of two promotion periods: (1) the “Main Promotion” and (2) the “Wrap Up Draw”.
- The Main Promotion will begin at 9am (UK time) on 21 May 2025 and will close at 4.59pm (UK time) on 10 September 2025. During the Main Promotion, there will be two prize draws. Entries received from 9am (UK time) on 21 May 2025 to 4.59pm (UK time) on 16 July 2025 will be entered into the “First Prize Draw” where there will be 3 “Star Prizes” (see clause 21 for details) and 122 “Second Tier Prizes” (see clause 22 for details) available to be won. Entries received from 5pm (UK time) on 16 July 2025 to 4.59pm (UK time) on 10 September 2025 will be entered into the “Second Prize Draw” where there will be 2 Star Prizes (see clause 23 for details) and 123 Second Tier Prizes available to be won (see clause 24 for details).
- The Wrap Up Draw will begin at 5pm (UK time) on 10 September 2025 and will close at 4.59pm (UK time) on 2 January 2026 and will consist of one prize draw (see clauses 25 to 28 for details). Entrants who enter during the Wrap Up Draw will receive an entry into the Wrap Up Draw where there are 51 Second Tier Prizes available to be won (see clause 28 for details). Star Prizes are only available to be won in the Main Promotion (see clause 10).
- All entries into the Promotion online must be received by the end of the Main Promotion or the Wrap Up Draw, as applicable. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, corrupted, or not received by the end of the Main Promotion or Wrap Up Draw (as applicable) for any reason. Proof of submission shall not be deemed to be proof of receipt.
- To participate, submit an entry into either the Main Promotion (see clauses 10 and 17) or the Wrap Up Draw (see clauses 11 and 25) by following the Entry Steps in clause 14.

- Enter your date of birth to access the Website;
- Enter your name, email address and mobile number (you will receive a “One-Time Password to your mobile device);
- Enter your One-Time Password where prompted on the Website, to complete your entry.
- There is a limit of 5 entries per mobile number and email address across the Main Promotion and the Wrap Up Draw. There is a limit of 3 prizes per household across the Main Promotion and the Wrap Up Draw.
- Participants who seek to enter more than the entry limit may be disqualified. Entries generated by script, macro, mechanical or other automated means are prohibited and will cause disqualification. Multiple entries made through agents, third parties, organised groups or any entry duplication method will not be accepted.
- Participants who follow the Entry Steps (see clause 14) between 9am (UK time) on 21 May 2025 to 4.59pm (UK time) on 16 July 2025 will be entered into the “First Prize Draw” where there will be 3 Star Prizes and 122 Second Tier Prizes available to be won (see clauses 21 and 22 for details). Participants who follow the Entry Steps (see clause 14) between 5pm (UK time) on 16 July 2025 to 4.59pm (UK time) on 10 September 2025 will be entered into the “Second Prize Draw” where there will be 2 Star Prizes and 123 Second Tier Prizes available to be won (see clauses 23 and 24 for details).
- Within 1 week of the end of the First Prize Draw, 125 winners will be selected, at random, via a computer-generated randomiser, from all valid, eligible entries submitted during the First Prize Draw. The first 3 winners selected will win a Star Prize (see clause 21 below). The next 122 winners selected will win a Second Tier Prize (see clause 22 below).
- Within 1 week of the end of the Second Prize Draw, 125 winners will be selected, at random, via a computer-generated randomiser, from all valid, eligible entries submitted during the Second Prize Draw. The first 2 winners selected will win a Star Prize (see clause 23 below). The next 123 winners selected will win a Second Tier Prize (see clause 24 below).
- Please see clauses 29 to 31 for details on how and when winners will be notified.
- A winner of a Star Prize in the First Prize Draw (see clause 17), selected in accordance with clause 18, will win one of the following Star Prizes, randomly allocated to them via a computer-generated randomiser:
- A one-night stay for 2 adults and 2 children (under 18) in a classic suite at One Aldwych hotel in Covent Garden, London, on a room-only basis; and
- A Charlie and the Chocolate Factory themed afternoon tea for 4 people at One Aldwych. Afternoon tea includes sandwiches, scones, desserts and tea. Also includes one glass of champagne per adult and one mocktail per child.
- Standard access to the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre for 5 people;
- A one-hour, private secret archives tour for 5 people;
- A Roald Dahl Museum Edition story book.
- A Charlie and the Chocolate Factory themed afternoon tea for 4 people at One Aldwych, Covent Garden, London. Includes sandwiches, scones, desserts and tea. Does not include alcohol or, any other drinks.
- A winner of a Second Tier Prize in the First Prize Draw (see clause 17), selected in accordance with clause 18, will win one of the following Second Tier Prizes, randomly allocated to them via a computer-generated randomiser:
- A winner of a Star Prize in the Second Prize Draw (see clause 17), selected in accordance with clause 19, will win one of the following Star Prizes, randomly allocated to them via a computer-generated randomiser:
- A one-night stay in a Roald Dahl themed standard family room at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower hotel in London;
- Breakfast; and
- Access to spa facilities.
- Standard access to the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre for 5 people;
- A one-hour, private secret archives tour for 5 people;
- A Roald Dahl Museum Edition story book.
- A winner of a Second Tier Prize in the Second Prize Draw (see clause 17), selected in accordance with clause 19, will win one of the following Second Tier Prizes, randomly allocated to them via a computer-generated randomiser:
- Participants who follow the Entry Steps (see clause 14) during the Wrap Up Draw (see clause 11) will be entered into the Wrap Up Draw, where there will be 51 Second Tier Prizes available to be won.
- Within 1 week of the end of the Wrap Up Draw, 51 winners will be selected, at random, via a computer-generated randomiser, from all valid, eligible entries submitted during the Wrap Up Draw. Each winner will win a Second Tier Prize (see clause 28 below).
- Please see clauses 29 to 31 for details on how and when winners will be notified.
- A winner of a Second Tier Prize in the Wrap Up Draw (see clause 25), selected in accordance with clause 26, will win one of the following Second Tier Prizes, randomly allocated to them via a computer-generated randomiser:
- Winners of the Promotion will be contacted via email. Winners of the First Prize Draw (see clauses 17 to 18) will be contacted by 23rd July 2025; winners of the Second Prize Draw (see clauses 17 and 19) will be contacted by 17 September 2025; and winners of the Wrap Up Draw (see clauses 25 to 26) will be contacted by 9 January 2026 (each a “Notification Date”). Participants who have not won a prize will not be notified.
- The notification email will contain details on how the winner can claim their prize (which may include a request for the winner to provide their contact and delivery address details, via a secure webform link). Where winners win a Star Prize, the notification email will contain details on who the winner can contact to acknowledge acceptance of their prize and to arrange for the booking of their prize. To claim their prize, winners must follow the instructions in the notification email and in accordance with clause 31 below.
- If you are the winner of a prize, you will have 14 days from the Notification Date (see clause 29) to respond to and follow the instructions in the notification email. If you do not claim the prize by this date, your claim will become invalid.
- A winner forfeits their prize and the Promoter reserves the right to select, at random, an alternative winner from all remaining eligible entries received in the First Prize Draw, Second Prize Draw or Wrap Up Draw (as applicable), if:
- the winner does not respond to the notification email (see clauses 29 to 30) and does not provide the contact or delivery details requested within the time period set out in clause 31;
- a prize is rejected or returned undeliverable;
- a winner cannot accept the prize for any reason; or
- an entry is invalid, or a participant is disqualified or in breach of these Terms.
- Prizes will be valid for 12 months from the date the winner receives email confirmation of their prize. The prize must be booked, taken and completed before the prize validity period expires. All elements of a prize must be taken at the same time. Dates and times for booking prizes (including accommodation and any experiences included within the prize package) are subject to availability. If any elements or experiences are not available for the dates that the prize will be taken, the Promoter may substitute such elements or experiences for alternative elements or experiences of at least equivalent value, in its sole discretion. The winner should aim to provide the Agency or Prize Fulfilment Agency with as much notice as possible ahead of their desired date for utilizing their prize, to avoid disappointment. Bank holidays, weekends falling on a bank holiday (i.e. a weekend immediately preceding a bank Holiday Monday), Easter holiday dates and dates falling between 23 December to 2 January are excluded. Other date restrictions may apply; check with the Agency or Prize Fulfilment Agency. There is no guarantee that the Agency or the Prize Fulfilment Agency will be able to accommodate any of the dates provided by the winner. Once booked, the prize cannot be amended or cancelled.
- At least one person utilizing the prize must be aged 18 or over.
- Unless specified otherwise in the prize description, experience or ticketed event prizes are general admission only; certain experiences or attractions may include certain optional additional activities not included within general admission access and which may be charged for separately. If taken, these costs will be the responsibility of the winner and their guests.
- Unless expressly included within the description of the prize, insurance, travel expenses, parking, tax, personal and food and drink expenses are excluded. Any costs incurred in addition to those included within the prize and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the prize are the responsibility of the winner and their guests.
- The winner and their guests will be required to comply with the terms and conditions and any health and safety requirements or any other policies, of any accommodation or experience provider. Please check with the venue of accommodation or experience for details. Failure to comply with such terms and conditions, health and safety requirements or other policies may result in the prize or experience being aborted and for which neither the Promoter, Agency nor Prize Fulfilment Agency can be held responsible.
- Prizes cannot be sold, transferred or auctioned. Prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable. There is no cash or other alternative, except in circumstances outside the Promoter's control, where the Promoter has the discretion to replace the prize with an alternative of equal or higher value.
- The winner or, an individual aged 18 or over nominated by the winner, may be required to be available at the delivery address to accept and sign for delivery of the prize.
- It is the responsibility of the participant to provide accurate, up-to-date details. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for participants failing to supply accurate information which then affects the acceptance or fulfilment of their prize.
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any inability of a participant to take up the prize.
- There are a maximum of 3 prizes per household, across the Main Promotion and the Wrap Up Draw.

- Where participants are required to create and submit content to enter the Promotion, the participant warrants that its entry and the materials submitted with its entry will not infringe the intellectual property rights (including copyright) or, any other proprietary rights whatsoever of any third party.
- All entries and any accompanying material submitted to the Promoter will become the property of the Promoter on receipt and will not be returned. By submitting your entry and any accompanying material, each participant agrees to:
- assign to the Promoter all intellectual property rights in your competition entry and any accompanying material with full title guarantee; and
- waive all moral rights
in and to their entry and otherwise arising in connection with their entry to which the participant may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world. Each participant agrees that it shall execute any document or instrument necessary to give effect to any assignment, grant of rights or waiver referred to in this clause 45. - By entering the Promotion, each participant agrees that any personal information provided by them with their entry may be held and used by the Promoter or its agents (including the Agency and the Prize Fulfilment Agency) and its suppliers for the purpose of administering the Promotion.
- Winners may be required to take part in non-paid publicity or advertising relating to the Promotion, which may include having their photograph taken for promotional and press purposes. The Promoter may use the winner’s first name and initial, and county of residence (where available), to announce them as the winner of the Promotion. If you do not wish for your personal information to be used for this purpose or, if you wish to limit the amount of personal information that is published, please contact: please contact: [email protected] (if you are a resident of the UK) or, [email protected] (if you are a resident of the Republic of Ireland).
- To receive a list of winner(s) and county of residence of the winner(s), where the county of residence is available, please email [email protected] by (i) 16 October 2025 for First Prize Draw winners (ii) 10 December 2025 for Second Prize Draw Winners and (iii) 2 April 2026 for Wrap Up Draw winners. Please note that we may not be able to disclose this requested information, if a participant objects to the disclosure of such information in accordance with clause 47. Where a winning participant has objected to their information being disclosed, the Promoter or the Agency will instead confirm that a valid award has taken place. The Promoter may nevertheless disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required.
- Insofar as is permitted by law, neither the Roald Dahl Story Company Limited, Quentin Blake, nor the Promoter, its agents (including the Agency and the Prize Fulfilment Agency) nor its distributors will in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner(s) or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of any of the parties referenced in this clause or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
- By entering the Promotion, you are agreeing to be bound by (i) these Terms and, to the extent applicable (ii) the Premier Foods Group Limited website general terms of use: https://www.premierfoods.co.uk/SpecialPages/Legal-Notices/LegalNotices-TermsOfUse.aspx; Any entries that do not comply in full with these Terms and the applicable terms set out in this clause will be disqualified. You acknowledge that your personal data will be collected, stored and processed in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy.
- Entries and claims for prizes which do not include all of the information required will be deemed as invalid.
- Any decision of the Promoter as to eligibility to take part in the Promotion or the result of the Promotion will be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
- The Promoter reserves the right to refuse any entry, claim or award of prizes and/or refuse further participation in the Promotion and disqualify a participant where it believes there has been a breach of these Terms, the spirit of the promotion, any instructions forming part of this Promotion's entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating or claimed using fraudulent means. The Promoter's decision will be final in this regard.
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are late, delayed, incomplete, lost, damaged, incorrectly submitted, are unreadable or misdirected, whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure, non-availability of the website, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind, or any other reason.
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for (a) any codes, entries or notifications which are not received due to the use of incorrect or inaccurate entry information, any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions, or for any other reason; (b) any unauthorised access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of entries at any point in the operation of the Promotion; (c) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers used in any aspect of the operation of the Promotion; (d) inaccessibility or unavailability of any network or wireless service, the Internet and/or any website; or (e) any injury or damage to any person’s computer(s) or mobile device(s) which may be related to or result from any attempt to participate in the Promotion or to download any materials in connection with the Promotion.
- The Promoter reserves the right to delay, postpone or cancel the Promotion in the event of circumstances outside its reasonable control, which it considers necessary.
- This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any third-party brands, companies or accommodation / hotel providers described in any prize description and the aforementioned shall have no responsibility or liability in respect of or, in connection with this Promotion. Entrants further acknowledge that the Promoter is responsible for the administration of this Promotion and that any other third-party companies or brands referenced in these Terms or, associated with this Promotion, shall be released of any responsibility or liability in respect of this Promotion.
- The Promotion and these Terms are subject the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes must be referred to the English courts.
